What will happen if i accidently gave my dog heartworm medicine twice a month?

My dad asked my mom if she gave the dogs heart worm medicine, and she didn’t answer. So I went to give them there heart medicine. I gave it to my dogs, then my mom comes running saying that she gave the dogs heartworm medicine. Can you tell me what will happen? Please, I’m worried. :'(

    Nothing will happen Ariane. When you give heartworm medicine it kills off any immature worms and fades away. If both doses were close together, I know over doses of Heartguard won’t hurt. For other types, better check with the vet.
