We have just bought two 6 week old bunnies. Problem is we have no idea how to go about potty training. They just seem to go pretty much everywhere any anywhere they please. We let them loose in the sitting room and they were just pooping as they walked along. Is 6 weeks too young? Should we wait? Problem is I can’t bear the thought of leaving them in their cage as they are very energetic and love to run. They have a run for outside but the weather has been a bit too nuts to put them out in too often.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thank you
Gloria

I adopted three ferrets from someone on Craigslist. The condition of their teeth is deplorable. Is there a special fluoride or toothpaste that I can buy? Also one of the older ferret shakes, almost uncontrollably and non-stop, is there a reason for this? How do I help correct this?
Thanks,
Glenne

I think my 7 year old Border Collie has hip dysplasia. He had hip problems last summer but he got well with plenty of gentle activity and good food. Now it has started again. Two days ago he was as right as rain and then suddenly his back legs collapsed. Now he can only shuffle. How can I help him? I can’t afford a vet. tomorrow I am taking him to the vet. I can’t stand to see him suffer, I need to help him. – Rosie

Two weeks ago, I got a lion mane bunny from a pet store. He had been previously owned, but the lady said that it was rare to find a bunny as nice as him. When I brought him home, he wouldn’t let me get him out of his cage without struggling, and when I let him out of his cage, he would hide in places where I couldn’t get him. Is this characteristic of the breed? What can I do to make him understand that I just want to hold him and pet him, and that I won’t hurt him? My mom says he’s probably just getting used to everything, but I’m still frustrated. He’s very sweet, and when he’s in his cage he lets you pet him but not hold him.
Anyone have any advice?
Thanks!
Ash

I have had a kitten for about a month and she is now 5 months old. We bought her off a breeder and she had the cat-flu pretty bad with coughing, sneezing and she still hasn’t gone.
We have taken her to the vet, about 2 weeks ago, and he gave us some antibiotics. She has finished them all but she is still sick! I don’t know how to make her better. How do you help a kitten with the cat flu?
Thanks,
Faith

My hamster has been acting weird and her eye looks funny. Can anyone give me a list of signs or anything that tells me if my hamster is sick or is just becoming old? She is a full adult. 🙂 Thank you!
I guess I will add what her eye looks like. One eye is squinting, almost shut while the other one is open like it is supposed to be.
Thank you.

I have 2 rabbits, they are brother and sister and I have no clue which one I should get castrated. I have heard that 85% of female rabbits die of cancer every 5 years but I have also heard that the operation is risky and might kill my female. But if I only castrate the male the female might become aggressive towards it. I don’t mind castrating them both either. Please Help!
Thanks.

My long haired cat always over grooms himself in the summer and he makes his skin go red and have bald patches. We’ve took to a vet about and nothings wrong with him. He hasn’t got fleas or anything. How do I stop my cat over grooming himself? How do I stop him from making himself go bald. Any ideas plz 🙂
Thank you.
