Hello. My dog recently came in from her usual run outside, and is experiencing pain in her rectum. I’m assuming it’s there, because her tail is between her legs and she cannot sit down.
She whimpers a lot, and her breathing has changed.
Is something extremely wrong?

Its hard to say what’s causing her behavior, and the best thing to do is to see if you can spot any skin breaks or signs of injury in the area. It sounds like your dog may have been stung or bitten by something while she was outside but without seeing her its hard to tell.
Call your dogs vet if she does not seem better in a short while. Don’t take a chance.
