I have a Pomeranian with skin problems — I adopted him 2 years ago and
he was being treated for Mange — Last year in about May he started with
itchy pink red skin oily flaky and hair falling out my vet prescribed
numerous medications and medicated shampoo — nothing worked — he did skin
scrapings and culture growths and never was able to diagnose the problem —
it went away for a few months in Jan – April and returned in May — Can you
help me
A weaken immune system will cause mange. Harsh chemicals only weaken the immune more. So, you need to focus on the cause.

Have your vet do a skin biopsy, or ask to be referred to a Veterinary dermatologist. Skin problems can be very difficult, but rewarding when treated properly.

You should change his diet. If you feed him dry dogfood avoid preservatives like BHA,dyes, and by products. also get him on some supplement and vitamins. he is most likely suffering from a poor immune system or food allergy.also give him some flax or olive oil 1/2 teaspoon for every 10lbs.also try to get him on probiotics and antioxidants. i also recommend a detox and seeing a holistic vet. if you like more info email me holy_moo_moos@yahoo.com
