My long haired cat always over grooms himself in the summer and he makes his skin go red and have bald patches. We’ve took to a vet about and nothings wrong with him. He hasn’t got fleas or anything. How do I stop my cat over grooming himself? How do I stop him from making himself go bald. Any ideas plz 🙂
Thank you.

My 2 month old male kitten has diarrhea. It just started. He’s already had his first 3 vaccines and shots. Adopted him from the SPCA. I was wondering is there any kitten or cat foods that are especially designed for kittens with diarrhea? He has been moved around a lot like from the shelter to my house so I’m thinking stress is what triggered the diarrhea. He’s been drinking water which I was told is a good thing. He hasn’t been OVER DRINKING though. Please help.
Thank you.

I boarded my dog at a new place. A few days after she got home she started limping and was lethargic. I took her to the vet and she tested positive for lyme disease.
She is on antibiotics and is fine now, but I can’t help blaming the new kennel. Could she have been bitten by a tick from another dog at the kennel and developed symptoms within a week?
Thanks.

Summer is coming up soon and where I live, the average temperature will reach over 100 degrees F. Even at night, the weather is unbearably hot.
I have a jack russell terrier who needs a lot of exercise but I’m not sure how to do that when it starts getting too hot. The average weather right now is around 90 degrees F. I’m already having trouble getting my pup enough exercise and it’s not even summer yet.
Thanks.

My cat has some little air bubble in his stomach that when I touch, it is soft and will move a bit. At some point it will go away and come back later. Does anyone know what this could be? Is it harmful to my cat? Should I be worried? Should I get him checked? Please help. — Marian

It’s about the size of his nose (the black part of it) and has developed quite rapidly. Two days ago, when I looked at him, I didn’t notice anything of the sort. He is getting up there in age, about 3 this summer. He is still eating and running on his wheel and everything, but this lump is concerning. For now we’re going to wait and see if it starts to affect his eating, then take him to the vet. Could he have cancer? Is it just a cyst of some sort? Thanks in advance. — Marian

My cat was diagnosed with gingivitis 6 months ago and 3 teeth were removed. The vet also scaled and cleaned her teeth. Even if her teeth receive regular cleaning by the vet annually, can gingivitis still come back?
