Older cat has lost her vitality

I have an 18 1/2 year old cat who is acting like she does not feel well. She looks listless and sleeps a lot and her fur looks dull.

I’ve taken her to the vet on 3 different occasions but, other than telling me she’s getting old, they can’t find anything wrong with her.

I want to help her feel better and have run out of things to do for her. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi,

    I’m going to suggest you get a second opinion.

    If there is nothing really wrong with her except old age but she remains listless with a dull coat, my guess is your vet is missing something.

    It does not hurt to ask someone else, and how nice it would be to find out there is something that can be done for your cat.

    You know where to look for another vet to ask, right? VetLocator, of course!
