Helping pet owners get health help For their pets

I think my cat dislocated her leg and can’t go to the bathroom

my cat is apx 14-17 yrs old.  i think she has dislocated her back leg (from the hip).  she is not able to walk, or stand, but the foot is fine and she can move it.  however, now she is not going to the bathroom either.  no pee or poo since yesterday. i believe she is in a ton of pain.  can you please tell me how much a visit like this would cost?  can anything be done for her without a traumatizing visit to a vet hospital?

Hi, It’s a good idea you have to get a housecall vet out to see your cat. You are right that a vet coming to your house will be able to help her at home without the trauma of a trip to a vet hospital. Although home visits might be slightly higher than if you bring your pet in yourself it is usually worth the small difference in the convenience and how much easier it is on your senior pet.

Let us know how it went, OK?
