How do I get my cat to stop peeing in the house?

My cat keeps peeing in the house.  It was litterbox trained but it seemed to forget.  We have tried everything.  The cat, Adam didn’t before I got another female cat named Soxy.  They share a litterbox. How do I get my cat to stop peeing in the house?

    Give him his own litterbox, see if that helps. Is he neutered? Because he could just be showing off, marking his territory.
