Holistic approach to hyperthyroidism?

What is an holistic approach to hyperthyroidism besides drugs and radioactive surgery? Thank you for this information.

Have a blessed day.

There is no value in holistic approaches to hyperthyroidism. I do believe the best treatment is a short course of Methimazole, followed by laser surgery. In a small percentage of cases, there is ectopic (or distant) thyroid tissue that could be missed, but the great majority of these cats do extremely well from the day of surgery on. Their weight comes back, along with their personality, which often becomes anxious or worse because of the excess thyroid in their systems. Radioactive iodine is also a great choice, although more expensive than surgery (at least done by me). Good luck
