I am deployed and my wife keeps telling me on the phone that our mastiff keeps going under the porch. I want to tell her that she is just being weird but I don’t know.
Is this something to be alarmed about?

1. It is summertime. The dog may be simply avoiding the heat. Some dig holes under shrubs, others hide under porches and similar structures.

3. Always remember that the heat at ground level is higher than 5 or 6 feet above it. Don’t let your dog suffer. If it is too hot for you, its too hot for them.
Call aonurd and ask the clinics aonurd area. Most major pain clinics treat with narcotic pain medications if needed. Go online and there is a organization that help patients with pain issues.
