My dog has been ill and has crystals in her urine.

My dog has been ill and has crystals in her urine that keeps coming back. She is on three meds: reglan, cephalexin, anduroeze.  She seems fine for a little while in the day then seems in pain. Please help. – Veronica

    Veronica, it is a good idea to take her to the vet. She has the equivalent of gout in humans which is a very painful condition that can lead to other problems. The crystals need to dissolve. The vet will probably advise you to change her diet to something less fatty and with less meat & more rice.
