My dog is requiring a rabies shot to get his license renewed. Is there any way to get around this requirement? I am opposed to vaccinations and if there is a way to have him licensed without giving him the shot, I’d like to know.

My 11 year old Yorkshire terrier was diagnosed with pancreatitis in Florida-that vet did blood tests-on fluids for 2 days in hospital-vet up here did not do follow up blood tests as Fla vet recommended. Her levels were over 6000 when should have been in the hundreds-hair looks bad-she is on Purina OM canned and dry-no fatty foods-anything else I can do to help
her-she acts ok.

I have switched my cats over to a homemade diet. The kitten with no problem. The older cat, though, has been on commercial food for far too long and is having problems, which I am to understand is a matter of detox.

However, she is pretty much not eating at all, not even her commercial food and ESPECIALLY if I mix anything. When she does eat she throws it right back up. What is the best way or thing I can do to help her through this?

Would I need to take her to a holistic vet or is there something I can do for her here? She’s VERY temperamental and is next to impossible to handle at the vet’s. I am not sure her current vet would embrace a non-commercial diet.

I would like to take my 18 yr old cat off Tapozole for hyper-thyroidism.
She’s been on it for about 2 yrs.-her age concerns me tho she is
doing fine. Shes only thin-is this possible?

What natural cure/treatment is there for Osteosarcoma?

My 12 yr old dog has been limping for 8 days now, she is on previcox, the vet said she has a torn ligament in her rear left leg. The previcox is not working, Is there anything else to do ??

I took my dog to the vet because he injured his leg. My current vet recommended TTA based on an x-ray he took today. Can torn or ruptured ligaments be viewed on an xray? Also, what holistic
treatment would you recommend? This is a 2 year old black lab, he is limping but NO LONGER holding his leg off the ground since taking anti-inflammitory meds.

My dog has EVERY symptom of Canine Cushings disease. I have taken her to the vet twice and had a zillion test run, only to have them tell me, the test are inconclusive. This last time the vet basically said he couldn’t find anything that “She is just getting older.” My dog is a female approx. 10 years of age. Lab sheppard mix rescue. She has changed dramitcally in
the last few months. I can’t sit back and just let her die without trying something! She had been so active before January 2007. We would go to the park and hike several miles everyday! Now she can barely make it up the stairs. She can’t sleep through the night due to bladder issues, not to mention urinating in the house which has never happened before. Sorry I’ve probably given you more info than you needed. I’ve had very good luck personally going with a homeopathic type approach to my own health isses. I’ve been considering the homeopathic drops for the tratment of cushings. Is this a safe alternative? What are the bad side effects. Please reply soon. I hate to let anymore time slide by.
