Saturday, July 18th, 20095 mo pup refuses food, drinks water but vomits most up. Has vomited yellow bile.
Possible ingestion of mouse killed with decon. Somewhat lathargic but no signs of pain.
No blood in urine, unseen stool, eyes clear, gums pink.
I’m not sure what to do. Out in country and no nearby vets to take the pup to.

Dog x-ray shows chip off knee. Advice?
Tuesday, July 14th, 2009Our dog has had an x-ray and it shows a bone chip or some other object floating off of the knee.
Our vet said that an orthopedic vet would need to do surgery – the dog is 5 months old and the estimate (initial) was $2500.
Does this sound right and/or can non orthopedic vets perform this fix?
The dog is limping and often holding the leg (rear) up when walking/hopping.
