My parakeet has gout and his legs are now paralyzed. Is it contagious for the other parakeets living in the same cage? Please help. – Ashley
I found this baby ferret in my backyard today. I’ve been feeding it cat food and I’m planning on putting up flyers to find the owner. I am not sure if the ferret is okay, its been sleeping and being very lazy mostly, and then it will eat quickly and go to the bathroom and sleep again. Is this normal?
What is another good thing to feed it? It seems to love the cat food I gave it and a little bit of peanut butter which it ate as well.
Thanks. – Claude
I’ve learned that fish based cat foods tend to cause health problem in cats.
But why? What about the fish makes it so bad?

I have a 16 pound 13 year old bichon that was just diagnosed yesterday and the vet prescribed piroxicam (1/4 once a day) however I have been told by the pharmacies that it only comes in capsules? Any advice? – Kim
My hamster has a tumor but it doesn’t seem to affect her but currently I am babysitting my neighbors hamster. Are hamster tumors contagious? Will it get the other hamster have a tumor too? Hamsters are in two different cages.

If a bunny has it’s ears eaten off during cleaning after birth. Will the bunny be deaf? I’m more concerned about the build up of scar tissue. Will other health problem be created due to possible closure of the ear opening as it heals? I just had a litter of 7 bunnies where their ears were missing. Only one ear left in the whole bunch. 🙁
My cousin has feed all of her dogs and cat raw meat. She feeds them hamburger, sardines, tuna, eggs and other meats. Is it normal?
Thank in advance. Claude
If you decide to handle a pet store puppy, is it possible to catch and carry a disease from that puppy to your dogs at home? Or do the two animals need to be in contact with each other? If you can accidentally pass on a disease, what common sicknesses are there and how do you tell the difference between a relatively healthy dog and a sick dog? 🙂 thanks in advance
Does my strictly indoor cat really need so many vaccinations for diseases she will never be exposed to outdoors? I need some answers. Thank you.
