I am a foster mom for 4 beautiful kittens now 2 weeks old. I have had them for one week (mom is here also). One of the little manx kittens had a “sore” above her tail which was seen by a vet. I was instructed to put neosporin on it. I then noticed the kitten was not straightening her back legs when she walked. I took it to another vet and here is the bad news. She has spina bifida – the worse case of Manx syndrome and will not be able to walk or control her bowels or bladder. We have a no-kill shelter so they will do everything possible but I know there isn’t much that can be done. She will be unadoptable. Even in a no-kill shelter they will euthanize for medical reasons. So I have agreed to keep her with her litter-mates until they are 8 weeks and will go back to the shelter for neutering and adoption.
My question is…. what is the best things I can do with little kitten with what is probably the last month of her life. Should I play with her or let her just enjoy her siblings?
Thank you.

I just got a hamster and whenever i hold him he either pees on me or bites me and whenever i touch him he gets startled. The person at the pet store said he didn’t mind being handled, but my hamster doesn’t like anyone.
What should I do?

Holla! My name is Nathan. We rescued our dog from his previous owner who didn’t treat him too well. We have other dogs, and he gets jealous of them. He develops wounds as manifestation of his jealousy! Giving him dog treats aren’t enough anymore. What can I do to help our poor doggie?
Thank you.

My cat has a lot of fleas and his medicine(frontline) isn’t working.
My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat and he sleeps in my bed every night. Lately I’ve noticed a lot of fleas on him, on my bed, and all over my room. There has also been salt like specs which are apparently flea eggs all over my comforter. I love my cat and I don’t want to kick him out of my bed! Anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this problem?
Thanks,
John

I know that my little boys down the line will face some sort of respiratory distress. How can I prevent/slow the effects of that? Are there any foods that I should give/not give to increase immune strength in rats? One of my boys is sneezing a lot and I have at my disposal various antibiotics (cefadroxil, etc) don’t ask how… but is it ok if I give my boys a prevention dosage?
Thanks

I’ve been applying it once a month because we live out in a country area with lots of ticks, but I’m wondering if that’s to much. How often do you all apply frontline to your dogs?
This is a stupid question that I should probably know, but when is flea season?
Thanks
