From a veterinarian–hope you’ve seen your veterinarian by now! The chemical in Bio-Spot is very toxic to cats and some are more sensitive than others. Using a dog product on a cat can be lethal. Your veterinarian can give drugs that block or treat the toxicity and seizures and muscle spasms. Be sure he/she includes methocarbamol in the treatment. If the cat survives, never use that product on this cat again. Stick with Advantage or Frontline.

Some of the topical anti flea medications have a substance called organophosphates in them that can cause the symptoms you mention. Please check with a local vet as there are treatments available.

Give a homeopathic remedy called Nux Vomica 30c.

Bathe your cat as quick as you can with detergent and get her to the Veterinarian for emergency treatment. Many of the topical treatments are NOT for cats, as the label probably states.
