Bunny has it’s ears eaten off during cleaning after birth.

If a bunny has it’s ears eaten off during cleaning after birth. Will the bunny be deaf? I’m more concerned about the build up of scar tissue. Will other health problem be created due to possible closure of the ear opening as it heals? I just had a litter of 7 bunnies where their ears were missing. Only one ear left in the whole bunch. 🙁

    Oh no! that’s sad. The bunny is probably not deaf because the inner ear is what is important not the erect ears.. the inner ear should be just in the head.. Take care of your lil bunny.
