Any success treating epilepsy holistically?

How successful are holistic treatments for a dog with epilepsy? I want to find alternatives for the medication my dog is currently on because he does not seem to be doing well with them.

Thank You!

    Greetings,

Homeopathy and Chinese medicine have both been effective in treating seizure disorders. Obviously, every case is different and some pets respond better than others.

Yes……acupuncture, find out the cause (many drugs such as heartworm meds, chemicals in food, and food allergies can cause the problem), herbal supplements depending upon the type of epilepsy, magnesium supplements, and dietary changes. I have been successful in treating may dogs and removing them from drugs.
