My boyfriends cat has tapeworms. I am moving in with my animals.
Can my animals get tapeworm from his? How can I prevent this? Of course other than treating the infected animals.
Please help. I love my pets very much and do not want to place them in any harm.

Hi Jessica,
It is a concern that you should have attention on. Tapeworms are passed through the stool of the infected animal, so if one of your animals, (or you) accidentally ingests the eggs. Ask your boyfriend to treat his pets. It’s healthier for them, for him and for you and your pets.
