How young is too young to train a rabbit to use a litter box?

We have just bought two 6 week old bunnies. Problem is we have no idea how to go about potty training. They just seem to go pretty much everywhere any anywhere they please. We let them loose in the sitting room and they were just pooping as they walked along. Is 6 weeks too young? Should we wait? Problem is I can’t bear the thought of leaving them in their cage as they are very energetic and love to run. They have a run for outside but the weather has been a bit too nuts to put them out in too often.

Any advice would be appreciated!

    Ok get a litter box or a good sized bin good enough for them put their favorite treat or their hay be patient tho and once they get a little older they will learn, the reason why you put food in the litter box is because bunnies like to poop were they eat. Goodluck Gloria!
