NBC4.tvSeptember 15, 2006 -- MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. -- A little dog did quite a big job in Florida, helping a detective arrest a serial flasher.
Gus the pug just became a Martin County sheriff's deputy. He went undercover with the female detective to crack the case, which police have been chasing for several years.
Neighbors said the man had been exposing himself to people in a park.
Gus and the officer caught the flasher their first day on the job.
Residents said they are thankful to the deputy and Gus for taking the man off the streets.
When Gus is not serving as a volunteer with the sheriff's office, he lives with another detective in the department.
